"I would like the thank Diane Fuchs of Venice for her excellent job in helping us obtain a new home in Venice. Although the house was not listed with you, she went way beyond the ordinary to help us. Incidentally, we met Diane at an open house in Pelican Pointe last March when we were just exploring the area and trying to see what houses were going for at the time. I had decided that we would not be buying this spring, but the house we did indeed by came up for sale after we had returned to New York. We contacted Diane after we saw some pictures of it on the internet, and she followed through, first locating it, and then taking some great pictures which made us put in an offer. After a couple of offers and some time during which the seller dropped his price we made an offer contingent upon me coming down to Venice to see it. Diane arranged to have a home inspector meet me with the owner and herself during the Memorial Day weekend (Saturday). She kept us informed of process throughtout, and arranged for all the details which needed to be worked out. My wife and I are very satisfied with her work. Diane closed for us on June 30, and we drove down, arriving on July 3. Because we were in NY throughout the buying process and because we are not familiar with all the details involved with buying a home so far away Diane had to carry a larger burden in this sale.
